This course will allow beginners to get to grips with all the basic pottery and ceramics techniques. The sessions will cover a taster of lots of different techniques, including coiling, sculpting, slabwork and working on the potter’s wheel and look at the many ways to texture, decorate and glaze your work. There’ll be lots of demonstrations, one-to-one tuition and support, and give you the skills and confidence to develop your own ideas and style. The courses are limited to small groups so that all the students get lots of attention and feedback.
