The city of Hebron on the West Bank has been a flashpoint of tension between Israelis and Palestinians for decades. But you'd never know it from a video posted on YouTube, showing armed Israeli soldiers walking into a Palestinian club there this week during a wedding party. They didn't go in shooting. And the young Palestinian men inside didn't throw a single stone or fist. The soldiers had heard the dance music streaming out into the streets and went inside to boogie with the crowd, CNN affiliate Channel 2 reported. The Palestinian revelers gave them a rousing welcome, heaving the soldiers up onto their shoulders, still in their flak jackets and helmets. They raved together to the happy, pulsating rhythms of electronica, one soldier atop a Palestinian's shoulders, bouncing his assault rifle to the beat.

The Tango consists of a variety of styles that developed in different regions and eras of Argentina as well as in other locations around the world. The dance developed in response to many cultural elements, such as the crowding of the venue and even the fashions in clothing. The styles are mostly danced in either open embrace, where lead and follow have space between their bodies, or close embrace, where the lead and follow connect either chest-to-chest (Argentine tango) or in the upper thigh, hip area (American and International tango).

Gloria and Jose Fuentes were seventeen years old when they arrived to the United States in 1978. Like many other young Salvadorians, they were filled with hope - longing for a better life than what they were experiencing in a cruel and intense civil war, and civil chaos which lasted many years (decades) in El Salvador. Without knowing each other, Gloria and Jose settled in Houston, Texas and faced the precarious existence and survival difficulties of undocumented immigrants for some time. Fatefully, love created a miracle when they met and moved to Dallas to work with Gloria's sister at a Salvadorian restaurant, which her sister owned in Oak Cliff. A year later passed, and Gloria's sister gave up on the restaurant and Gloria and Jose chose to take over. Despite all the obstacles, and showing amazing resilience and a persistent work ethic, their life was beginning to change for the best. Playing an entrepreneurial role - with no previous knowledge - they registered the assumed Gloria.

Today is officially the day of freakin’ awesome DIY stuff. I really like this one considering it wraps three things I really like – gadgets, robots, and awesome – into one package. PachimonDotCom has taken the iPad, iPod nano, and the iPhone 4 and turned them into walking robots. The eyes of the robot are on the screens of the devices as you can see. The little legs are homemade and remind me of DIY versions of the feet you see on all sorts of wind up walking toys. When the bots wake up the eyes start moving and then they stand up and start walking the whole thing is pretty darn cool and cute. This would make a cool toy for Apple gadgets, it seems like you should be able to create an app that would let you program a pattern the gadgets could walk. Check out the videos below.
