Welkom Bij UDO Nederland. UDO Nederland is dé Hiphop dansbond! Wij zijn er voor hiphopdansers die zoeken naar een mogelijkheid om de Hiphop lifestyle echt te beleven. Die gejureerd willen worden door top juryleden uit de hiphop dansscene. En onze jurering is niet met een papiertje met de uitslagen achteraf. Nee, bij UDO krijg je van onze jury directe feedback. Feedback van mensen die net als jij begrijpen wat de hiphoplifestyle betekent en hoe je een hiphopdans uitvoert.

Breakdance is meer dan alleen trucjes doen. Boven alles is breakdance (de naam zegt het eigenlijk al) een dans! Je kunt breakdance onderverdelen in: uprocking (een dans waarbij een gevecht wordt na gespeeld), toprock (freestyle dansen, een soort introductie van jezelf), freezes (een aantal seconde een acrobatische houding vasthouden), powermoves (o.a. backspin, windmill, headspin, Thomas Flare) en acrobatische bewegingen (salto, flikflak, overslag, brug ). Het mooie van breakdance is dat het een aantal vaste basisbewegingen heeft, maar dat je eigen creativiteit ook heel erg op prijs wordt gesteld. Verder zal er ook aandacht zijn voor de hiphop cultuur zoals poppin & locking.
Sylvain Veldkamp is al jaren actief als danser en dansdocent van hiphop stijlen, zoals breakdance, poppin, electric boogaloo en house. Dit bracht hem op diverse podia over de hele wereld.

Scratching - DJ Techniques

Scratching is the technique of moving a record back/forth whilst cutting the sound on/off on the mixer. There are a myriad number of scratches each appropriately named, so welcome to the portal page which will help demonstrate the different types! Examples given are notated in TTM, and whilst they show a variety of manners in which the scratch can appear, the do not show the entire scope of ways the scratch can be performed.
