To vote in any election or referendum you must be registered on the electoral register. After you're registered, you'll automatically receive a poll card for all elections and referendums you're eligible to vote in. The poll card will be posted to you about 6 weeks before an election or referendum. It contains voting information and the location of your polling station. Please bring your poll card to the polling station on the day of voting. Registering to vote is the only way you can take part in elections and referendums.
