The trial sees Academy of Robotics' Kar-go Delivery Bot making deliveries of tools, equipment and supplies to locations within RAF Brize Norton, near Oxford. RAF personnel then go out to meet the vehicle and a hatch is automatically released enabling them to collect the package.

Canvey Island Tide Times. Canvey Island Weather is a private weather station based on Canvey Island, Essex. I have been collecting data since September 2009, initially using an Oregon WMR 200 weather station. Archived data is available on the site dating from January 2010. On the 1st of August 2016 I installed a Davis Vantage Pro2 Plus weather station with Daytime Fan-Aspirated Radiation Sheild. The station consists of, anemometer, rain gauge, thermo-hydro sensor, UV sensor and solar sensor, all situated in optimal positions for highest accuracy possible. Data is collected at intervals between 2.5 seconds and 60 seconds (depending on the sensor) and the website is fully updated every 5 minutes, using Weather Display Software as the interface. The software runs exclusively on a ACEPC AK1 Mini Desktop PC, running Windows 10 Pro, Version 21H1. The complete set up runs 24/7.

Photographers Rachel and Daniel of Mango Street have released a 5-part video tutorial series that teaches how to plan a shoot, find a suitable location, secure the ideal model, conduct the shoot, and edit the results. The shoot was conducted using a Canon 5D Mark IV and a Hasselblad x1D. Thoughts on the latter are found in the final video in this series. In this video, learn how to create a mood-board that will guide you through the entire shoot process, keeping you on track. For example, with the shoot being inspired by the French vintage style in the movie Amelie, images from Google of these specific styles were used to inform the stylist via the mood board. With a $300 budget for finding a location, adapting and compromising was definitely on the cards. The photographers look at both the color and texture of a shoot location, as well as the light and interactivity of the area.

I am an addicted kiter, helicopter and jet pilot who seeks the wind, waves, METARs and powder snow almost constantly. Since programming is my passion, I coded Windyty.com in 2014 as my pet project. The original version was highly inspired by the products from the Swiss company Meteoblue and other project called "Earth", that displayed animated wind particles on the globe. I have completely rewrote open source codes of Earth and also made an agreement with Meteoblue to use some of their products that time. And thus Windyty was born (renamed to Windy a few years later). StoryMapJS is a free tool to help you tell stories on the web that highlight the locations of a series of events. It is a new tool, yet stable in our development environment, and it has a friendly authoring tool. There are a couple ways you can make a StoryMap. Maps: Add a slide for each place in your story. Setting the location is as easy as a text search for the name, address, or latitude and longitude. You can change the visual style of your map with a few presets, or you can use Mapbox to create your own style. Really big images: You can tell stories with large photographs, works of art, historic maps, and other image files. Because it works best with pixel-dense files, we call these gigapixel. Setting one up requires you to host files on a web server.
