Nowadays everyone can meet with this living history vessel and gain a unique experience if becomes a member of Shtandart’s crew. Sailing aboard a real wooden tallship is a fascinating adventure in the atmosphere of the old times and also a new experience, a lot of impressions and the opportunity to meet interesting and keen on sea people. All members of the crew have an active participation in naval life and sailing the tallship.

Based on other successful schemes in Europe, the Lenox project aspires to create jobs, build transferable skills, bring pride to Deptford, and create tourism and identity. The original Lenox was built at Deptford more than 330 years ago and is unique in that all her details and specifications are known so that a true replica can be made.
