According to France’s national aviation authority, the French Civil Aviation Authority, flying a drone is legal in France, but we recommend being aware of and compliant with the drone regulations listed below before doing so. In addition to these regulations, France also has regulations that are country-specific. Based on our research and interpretation of the laws, here are the most important rules to know for flying a drone within the European Union. There are three operational categories that determine drone regulations based on the weight of the drone and the intended operation. SQL queries can get complex in a big hurry. If you are querying multiple tables, and in particular if your query involves operations like UNION and INTERSECT, then you can find yourself in a big, messy pile of SQL. Worse, that big pile will often run slowly, sometimes to the point where a web application times out! I won’t inflict a real-world example on you; that would be cruel. So let’s look at a “toy” problem, keeping in mind that this won’t illustrate any time-savings, just the technique involved.

Although the society is associated with the University of Bristol, we welcome individuals from all over Bristol. Due to heightened security at the union over the past couple of years, you will now need a student card from either the NUS or an independent university/college to gain entry into the building. Alternatively, you may become an associate member of the union by downloading a form here and returning it the the union - this costs £12 a year or £36 for lifetime membership.
