Using SLA/DLP 3D Printing technologies and these steps will get you 3D Printing transparent windows and other see-through objects. I’ve explored 3D Printing transparent windows and transparent 3D prints before (this tutorial) and wanted to revisit it with SLA. In my case, this was all produced with a Formlabs Form 2 SLA 3D Printer. 3D […] This is an advertise for our partner NordVPN. The travelling season is starting and it’s crucial you’re protecting your internet connection while abroad! Let’s imaging you’re walking down the beautiful old town part of your destination. It’s hot, you’re getting hungry and you need a drink. You’ve already checked out an restaurant at tripadviser and […] If you want to run fans or components using 12V on 24V 3D Printer you might find yourself in a pickle! A lot of 3D printers run 24V systems to help the stepper motors perform tougher tasks and run more silent. This in turn causes issues when you wan’t to start modding your 3D Printer […]

Saved by uncleflo on August 26th, 2019.

OSI Laser Diode, Inc. (LDI) PINAMPs provide a low cost, high performance miniature optical receiver module which integrates a high speed, high responsivity, low leakage current InGaAs photodiode with a GaAs transimpedance amplifier. The transimpedance amplifier incorporates automatic gain control providing high optical overload performance. The receiver package offers high reliability which satisfies Telcordia GR-468-CORE specifications. The pigtailed receivers are available with industry standard FC, LC, SC, and ST® connectors. Custom connectors are also available.

Build a Versatile Miniature High-Rate ESC with BEC and Brake

http://www.stefanv.com/electronics/escboth.html

Saved by uncleflo on July 15th, 2014.

This electronic speed control (ESC) for brushed motors combines the features of two of my earlier designs. One was a high-rate 30A ESC with a brake, and the other a high-rate 12A ESC with a BEC (receiver battery eliminator circuit). This ESC is an analog one, using off-the-shelf components. There are no microprocessors (which would require specialized equipment to program), and no surface-mount parts. It’s not as small or as light as many commercially available ESCs, but it’s smaller than many other do-it-yourself designs. It’s also versatile, in that it can be built for many applications, ranging from small Speed 400 sport planes to "hot liner" sailplanes.

TinyCircuits - A Maker of Tiny Open Source Circuits

Saved by uncleflo on June 4th, 2014.

Want to know where your cat (or dog) goes during the day? Create a easy to use GPS cat tracker using TinyCircuits. TinyCircuits is an Open Source Hardware company specializing in designing and manufacturing very small (Tiny) electronics. Based out of Akron, OH, TinyCircuits was originally started in 2011Akron Skyline by Ken Burns as AkroSense, with the intent to develop cheap, smart (very easy to use) and tiny sensors. During development of the initial sensor prototypes, we realized the need for a host processor platform to use – and the Arduino was the perfect fit. After showing off the prototypes to our friends, we began to shift our focus to building out the TinyDuino platform first, offering a core set of building blocks for makers to use to build cool stuff.
