This project is totally inspired from Aaron Magnin's Fusion 360 Tutorial in Autodesk Youtube Channel. I took a screenshot of the completed model and completed the model according to what I have learned from the tutorial. It was totally fun and a good example to show the power and simplicity of Fusion 360. I hope it will be useful to anyone interested as well. I watched this video and I fully enjoyed the lesson.

In 2014 CADENAS PARTsolutions created “parts4cad,” beginning the process to provide millions of 3D CAD models to users of the cloud-based design software platform, Autodesk Fusion 360. Now, the app has been fully integrated into the standard packages of Autodesk Fusion 360, providing users 3D CAD models from over 400 certified manufacturer catalogs directly within the app. Parts4cad is the first and only app within Autodesk Fusions 360 that provides 3D CAD model data from manufacturer catalogs. These components can be instantly configured and dropped directly into an existing Autodesk Fusion 360 design, making for a faster and more accurate design experience, while exposing a new audience to the CADENAS PARTsolutions family of industrial component manufacturers. Using SLA/DLP 3D Printing technologies and these steps will get you 3D Printing transparent windows and other see-through objects. I’ve explored 3D Printing transparent windows and transparent 3D prints before (this tutorial) and wanted to revisit it with SLA. In my case, this was all produced with a Formlabs Form 2 SLA 3D Printer. 3D […] This is an advertise for our partner NordVPN. You can create a mesh body from an imported mesh file (OBJ or STL) or a T-Spline body from a TSM file. To convert mesh bodies that have four-sided faces to T-Spline bodies, use the Convert command.

In this video I show how to create gears, how to make them mesh, how to put them together in a gear train, and how to make them move. Made on the occasion of me and my intern trying to figure such things out for some plywood rack and pinion gears. Good luck. FYI I also made a Rack & Pinion Gear tutorial here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=khG4Zk5XZrw

This mechanism uses rotary motion to move a gear quickly and precisely into a fixed position. Using skateboard bearings, you can snap these parts together and use the action for all kinds of useful (or useless) machines. Using gears that have teeth and smooth gaps, you can make a gear spin and stop at just about any angle you want. This is similar to a geneva gear, but it's much simpler to 3D model and (I think) a bit easier to understand. This is the first in a series of 3D printed mechanisms modeled in Fusion 360 using skateboard bearings and 3D printed parts. The idea is that you'll be able to use the mechanisms to make all kinds of projects that use mechanical assemblies like robots or any other machine you might want to make.
