P&E Lowlands is a brand representative and dealer of equipment, installations, auxiliaries and services in the field of modern power production, storage, distribution or drives in industrial and marine applications. In the first place we focus on a sustainable future using the internal combustion engine and look for advanced energy solutions, alternative fuels and power storage opportunities. Our approach draws from the idea behind the Blue World, the expanded version of Green Energy. The Blue World starts from the circular economy, a system in which reuse of products and raw materials will be maximized. We endeavor to replace fossil fuels in internal combustion engines with renewable alternatives deriving from the circular chain. Think hydrogen or biofuels. It strengthens our belief that the entire world can run on renewable energy resources. P&E Lowlands is based in Willemstad, the Netherlands. From this central location we are within reach of companies in Benelux and the North of France to guide them on the path towards 100 % renewable energy resources. The end of the era of fossil fuels does not mean the end of the internal combustion engine. In the future the IC-engine will be a durable and energy efficient transformer of renewable energy. This will not be achieved without finding ways to store sufficient energy supplied by nature. Until then, we will help you to make your equipment run on as little energy as possible. For this we offer custom solutions. The IC-engine comes in such a way that it perfectly matches the way your machine is functioning.

Battle Born Batteries are made in Reno, Nevada – the Battle Born State. Our batteries are the height of lithium ion technology. We only use LiFePO4 (Lithium Iron Phosphate) in our packs, this is the safest and most reliable chemistry of lithium ion available. They outperform and outlast all other batteries in their class and below their class (lookin’ at you, lead acid batteries). The best part? They’re easy on the planet and your wallet. Green energy is not a trend to us. It’s not a marketing ploy to exploit for sales. We make our renewable, sustainable green energy batteries because they’re simply better than anything else out there, including other green batteries. Compare the specs on our batteries to that grungy, lead acid one in your vehicle and it’s easy to see. Our batteries weigh less, last for more cycles, and they’re made from 100% safe, non toxic, renewable energy that can be charged and discharged over and over again (at a faster rate than any other battery). Not to mention the unbeatable price.

I realise when I first released this post, it was January, a time of year that not everyone is throwing themselves into water without a wetsuit. A lot of you have been asking about sustainable swimwear options again over the past month with this never-ending heatwave we are having, so I thought I’d update and repost this guide. With environmental issues becoming much more prominent in the mainstream media, a quick google into the textiles and fashion industries will provide you with endless reasons to choose slow fashion. If you didn't follow Fashion Revolution and the #whomademyclothes movement go and check it out, alongside the documentary The True Cost. The price is often more because these companies pay workers a fair living wage, and source sustainably grown and produced materials. I've been trying to buy everything I wear consciously and not fall into the consumerism trap too often (although I'm occasionally slip up and find myself on the high street, damn those glittery topshop dinosaur socks). I try to follow the guide lines:
