Tango is a unique and beautiful dance. At its heart, it has the embrace, a pure connection between two individuals, that involves trust and cooperation. It is sometimes calm and meditative, other times fast and spectacular. It touches many elements of human nature : passion, empathy, respect, intimacy, responsibility and care. Tango brings a lot of meaning and depth to our lives. It is almost spiritual in its essence, and allow us to connect to our inner-self and to interact on a soul-to-soul level with others. It teaches us a lot about our strengths & vulnerability, helps us become more self-aware & also more sensitive to others.You will built an exciting repertoire composed of hundreds of movements allowing you to dance freely and powerfully, while establishing a strong and meaningful connection with your dance partners. The learning will be fun and challenging, you will experience strong progress every week. We tailor our teaching to our students, and carefully adapt our advices to fit the learning style of each individual students.

Unlike stage tango choreographed and performed for an audience, Tango de Salón is totally improvised with the partners focused on each other and the music. Tango is a spontaneous and creative dance. First times can be scary but a first time only lasts, well, once. So, have fun, give it a go. Practice makes perfect, they say.

Corina Piatti, vocalist, songwriter and guitarist, was born in a village called Arteaga, in the province of Santa Fe, Argentina. As a teenager she studied drama and guitar and played her debut gig as a solo musician aged 18, at The House of Culture of Cuiaba, capital of Mato Grosso, Brazil. After traveling around Brazil and the North of Argentina, Corina went to Buenos Aires and studied Music Theory at The Sebastian Piana Institute and Singing Technique at Juan Manuel de Falla Conservatory. Some of the musicians she played with at that time were Daniel Paludi (guitar) Juan Pablo Medina (harmonic/guitar), Pablo Covacevich (guitar) Augusto Di Tella (guitar), Juanjo Hermida (piano) and Arturo Bassnueva (bass), among others. In 2003 Corina Piatti released her first solo album, "Un Fresco Amanecer" (A Fresh Sunrise), presenting original songs for voice and guitar - featuring Nizha Bustos on violin.

We have a full programme of drop-in classes for all levels – from the absolute beginner through to the advanced dancer. Whether you’re a seasoned "tanguero" or yet to take your first steps, you’ll find our lessons welcoming and inspiring. No partner necessary - come alone, with a partner or friends. All classes are drop-in – no need to book beforehand, just turn up! No start date – no need to join on any date or at the start of a term - our classes are ongoing and can be joined at any time!

They will be leading a special class and also performing their awesome show for us. We will also have the excellent tango duo FARABUTE live at the club for their only milonga gig in London this year. Residents DJ DIEGO and DJ AMORTANGO will playing the best traditional and modern tango tunes in the capital. NOT TO BE MISSED!!! Hot drinks and cakes serve at 2.30am free of charge. Last tango 5am.
