From this rich lineage, Matteo developed Tiger Nawa Ryū: a unique style blending Aibu and Seme Nawa, a form he calls Romantic Seme Nawa. It is a holistic and innovative approach rooted in mindfulness, presence, creativity, and deep relational awareness. Beyond ropes, Matteo is an artist, filmmaker, yoga teacher, and sound healer with over two decades of multidisciplinary experience, all of which inform the depth and sensitivity of his rope work.

Journeying to South Africa after graduating with a photographic degree, I trained as a safari field guide. Observing, photographing and learning about the local flora and fauna. A truly awesome experience, which fed my passion about the animal world and animal behaviour, leading me to work in the animal care industry, a very important aspect of my life. Having also a great interest in human nature and the relationship we have with the natural world. My aim is to collaborate these interests to create images that not only reflect on human experience but to ponder the world that we find ourselves in. Understanding the world around us and how we connect to ourselves, and to one another can be a deeply therapeutic experience. Through first hand encounters, the written word or imagery, it can give a sense of clarity; From one moment, being amazed with the beautifully uniform textures of a clustered feather moss, to another, feeling saddened having just discovered the lifeless body a collard dove, moved by the way the foliage appears to be cradling its body like a loving mother. Ready for it's energy to be reclaimed by the earth. It's so easy to become disconnected to the world of nature, my wish is to be able to reconnect you with it. The natural world is an intrinsic part of our lives, it's very presence is integral for our survival and our well being.

Lots Ait Boatyard is situated on an island in the river Thames between Kew Gardens and Brentford. An important part of London's commercial boating history, it was one of the last tidal boatyards to be closed in the early 1970's. Thanks partly to its island location, Lots Ait avoided re-development and has remained very much as it was left over 30 years ago with weeds and undergrowth hiding the vintage boat sheds and machinery that were formerly a hive of activity. John Watson, owner of John's Boat Works Ltd says "I have a lifelong passion for traditional boatbuilding and our great boating heritage, so having the opportunity to be involved in reopening Lots Ait boatyard is a dream come true. We also have roller shutter access which can accommodate a vehicle with a 5 meter ceiling height in the main studio. The business was founded in 2006 working from our home workshop. The core business was the manufacture of one off custom and client specific designed house name and number plates, using the traditional greensand casting technique. Most of our signs are made from cast aluminium which is then powder coated in a durable plastic finish prior to being painted by our resident artist in weather proof enamel paints. We also cast in brass, bronze or copper for those clients who require it. Being close to The Liverpool John Lennon Airport means we are located centrally in the UK and can easily source materials and equipment for the foundry industry. Due to this enhanced position expansion came quickly and easily. The move into supplying foundry products to artisan crafts people, artists, potters, sculptors, jewellers and model engineering came in 2007 after being approached with numerous requests for materials in viable quantities to meet their needs. Philippe Dufour is an AHCI member living in the Vallée de Joux, a very nice place considered as the cradle of high-end mechanical horology. He is clearly one of the most respected, most inovative and most talented master watchmakers working nowadays. His creations are considered as the quintessence of watchmaking, above everything that can be bought from known and respected companies. Philippe Dufour was born in the Vallée and went to the Sentier technical school when he was 15 years old. He became a watchmaker in 1967 and was employed by Jaeger-le-Coultre. The master watchmaker Gabriel Locatelli gave him a great knowledge of horology. He then worked in the Caribean islands and came back to Switzerland in 1974, employed by Audemars Piguet and Gerald Genta. He gave life back to old and very complicated watches, including quite a lot of repeaters, working for the Osvaldo Patrizzi workshop. He also made five "grandes sonneries" for Audemars Piguet and, then, decided to produce watches under his own name in 1989. Since that time, Philippe Dufour is one of the most sought after independant watchmaker. His search for perfection is what makes him so special in this world ! He is working alone (with the help of his daughter and of a young assistant) in his workshop, making nearly all the parts of his watches by himself and focusing on an incredible level of finishing and precision that can probably be found nowhere else today.
