Small charming property right in the very heart of historic centre of Prague. You can´t stay more central - our hostel is located literally right at the Charles Bridge. We offer tourist acommodation in recently remodeled and fully furnished apartments. All the rooms are equipped with a kitchen, TV and everything you should need during your stay. Tourist Information Centre in the lobby serves as a reception for our guests. There is free high-speed Wi-Fi in all areas and internet café downstairs as well (free access for our guests). We have great NESPRESSO coffee free for our guests and unlimited! Everything is included in the price, we are never going to charge you for towels, toilet paper and so on. The history of the hostel building goes back to the late 14th century and it belongs to protected cultural heritage. This means you can strongly feel Prague´s history here, but you have to get over a lack of elevator while staying here. But not to worry, we will help you to carry your bags up the stairs (this applies to girls and women only) :)

Since I joined Percona, my work/life balance has changed. I used to work eight-hour days and go home, period. Now I find it’s sometimes difficult to keep good boundaries between work and the rest of my life. I also found that 8 hours in my new job left me much more tired than 8 in my old job. I’ve had to really work hard to understand what changed and how to keep this more in balance, and I’ve gotten help from a number of other people. In the end, a deep examination of my habits was necessary. After all that work, I thought it might be helpful to share the results with others.

The youth hostel has a dining room, a cafeteria with terrace, two conference rooms overlooking the lake, two meeting rooms and two common rooms. It is located near the Echternach lake and provides an equipped sports hall and a 14 m high indoor climbing wall. 118 beds are divided in rooms from 2 to 6 beds, all equipped with sanitary facilities.

Na veel plannen en herplannen, tekenen en hertekenen, staat hij er: de nieuwste jeugdherberg in Vlaanderen, die van Leuven! Het is een uit de kluiten gewassen baby geworden met 116 bedden, verdeeld over 28 kamers. Een jeugdherberg? De naam jeugdherberg doet oudere mensen vaak een beetje denken aan enorme slaapzalen, iedereen in bed om 9u en helpen afwassen. Maar nee, zo zijn we niet. Eigenlijk kan je ons nog het beste een gemoedelijke, moderne en budgetvriendelijke verblijfplaats noemen. We bedienen jeugdgroepen maar ook volwassenenverenigingen, jong en oud, Belgisch en internationaal. Hostel is het woord dat internationaal meer en meer gebruikt wordt in plaats van jeugdherberg. Wij bieden ruime kamers aan van 2, 4 en 6 personen, elk met eigen douche en toilet.

Youth hostels in Amsterdam indeed offer housing where a number of persons share the same room (or a dorm). The bathrooms are shared too and usually on the each floor. Taking your own towels and sleeping bag may be useful, as some hostels charge an extra fee for the sheets. Most of the hostels also feature a common eating room, lockers, some board and card games and internet access. Youth hostels are therefore a good option for students on a limited budget, and also a very good place to meet the fellow travellers. If you are travelling with a partner, note some of the cheap hostels (Christian hostels "Shelter") feature only single-sex dorms.
