Like any other type of welding, it is critical to understand TIG welding settings and requirements to create a sustainable and quality weld. Also, similar to other welding styles, TIG welding relies on essential variables to determine what settings are appropriate for each application. If you are preparing to tackle a TIG welding task, having a few helpful charts tucked away in your back pocket can make the job easier, and you can finish quickly without running into any problems or messy endings. Look at the TIG welding amperage charts below for information to help you with any weld, no matter the material, size, or anticipated outcome. The amperage required when TIG welding is highly affected by the type of metal you are working with and how thick that metal is. The three main types of metals typically worked on with a TIG welder include Steel, Stainless Steel, and Aluminum. Each material requires a different amperage based on thickness.

Thank you for your interest in Roof Maker. We’ve seen a lot of change in the industry since the Company first started in 2001. Roof Maker (RM) entered the rooflight market at the very beginning of the move towards wanting to allow more light into our homes. Every rooflight we sell has been designed and developed by us specifically to address maximising the flow of light into any room. In fact, in many cases adding a rooflight can dramatically improve the amount of light in dark rooms or spaces. We are and always have been passionate about our customers. When the business started, we primarily sold to consumers who were undertaking home improvements and renovations. As the number of rooflights we were selling increased, we began to capture important feedback from our customers. Consequently, each of our products has been designed and developed utilising these invaluable comments and suggestions. This has led to the creation of some of the best looking and most durable rooflights available on the market today. Every rooflight we manufacture is made to measure and built by hand in our own on-site factory. Our two-acre manufacturing facility has a 30-metre automated glass manufacturing production line, capable of producing argon or krypton filled glass units up to 3000mm x 1200mm in size. The company’s inauguration coincided with the government legislation on CO2 emissions and Roof Maker prides itself on delivering superior thermal insulation efficiencies. Energy-efficient glazing helps reduce the carbon footprint of properties. Roof Maker has seen these two areas become far more important in the purchase decision-making process than ever before. The products are designed and built using the latest technologies, with triple glazed options that provide one of the industry’s highest Ug ratings of 0.2. We can also offer double glazed units, in order to provide the option of a lighter alternative to triple-glazed products.

Product Specifications: PSS Type A Seal Dimensions The Type A PSS Shaft Seal is a mechanical face seal. The sealing surface is created between the flat surfaces of the rotating stainless-steel rotor and the stationary carbon flange. The stationary carbon flange is attached to the front side of the bellows with hose clamps, and the back end of the bellows fits over the Stern tube and is secured with hose clamps. The stainless-steel rotor is fitted on the shaft in front of the carbon flange. The stainless-steel rotor compresses the bellows before the rotor is secured to the shaft with set screws. This compression (pre-load) maintains constant contact between the two flat faces of the stainless-steel rotor and carbon flange, allowing the PSS to compensate for the variable fore and aft movement due to propeller thrust. In addition, the carbon flange is over-bored to the shaft diameter allowing it to “float” around the shaft and thus compensate for most misalignment and vibration problems. The stainless-steel rotor is sealed to the shaft by two O-rings recessed into the collar's bore. These O-rings rotate with the shaft and stainless-steel rotor and do not experience wear during operation.

In addition to our "run of the mill" pool paints and coatings, we also manufacture a variety of performance paints and coatings for sub aquatic environments and surfaces such as pontoons, lock gates, water-wheels, sumps, bunds, sewage treatment plant, windfarm floors etc. These performance paints are ideal for areas or situations where water, chemical, oil or petroleum products are spilled, splashed or flooded and create hazardous environments. Chlorinated Rubber Paint is an air drying, single pack system resistant to a wide range of chemicals, sewage and mineral oil. Having excellent exterior durability and heat resistance, R10 is ideally suited for application to brickwork, slate roofs, steel, chemical storage tanks, bridges, marine equipment, swimming pool surrounding walls, floors and ceilings, sewage tanks etc. More information.Product Code - R10

It’s a few weeks after AWS re:Invent 2018 and my head is still spinning from all of the information released at this year’s conference. This year I was able to enjoy a few sessions focused on Aurora deep dives. In fact, I walked away from the conference realizing that my own understanding of High Availability (HA), Disaster Recovery (DR), and Durability in Aurora had been off for quite a while. Consequently, I decided to put this blog out there, both to collect the ideas in one place for myself, and to share them in general. Unlike some of our previous blogs, I’m not focused on analyzing Aurora performance or examining the architecture behind Aurora. Instead, I want to focus on how HA, DR, and Durability are defined and implemented within the Aurora ecosystem. We’ll get just deep enough into the weeds to be able to examine these capabilities alone.
