Thank you for your interest in Roof Maker. We’ve seen a lot of change in the industry since the Company first started in 2001. Roof Maker (RM) entered the rooflight market at the very beginning of the move towards wanting to allow more light into our homes. Every rooflight we sell has been designed and developed by us specifically to address maximising the flow of light into any room. In fact, in many cases adding a rooflight can dramatically improve the amount of light in dark rooms or spaces. We are and always have been passionate about our customers. When the business started, we primarily sold to consumers who were undertaking home improvements and renovations. As the number of rooflights we were selling increased, we began to capture important feedback from our customers. Consequently, each of our products has been designed and developed utilising these invaluable comments and suggestions. This has led to the creation of some of the best looking and most durable rooflights available on the market today. Every rooflight we manufacture is made to measure and built by hand in our own on-site factory. Our two-acre manufacturing facility has a 30-metre automated glass manufacturing production line, capable of producing argon or krypton filled glass units up to 3000mm x 1200mm in size. The company’s inauguration coincided with the government legislation on CO2 emissions and Roof Maker prides itself on delivering superior thermal insulation efficiencies. Energy-efficient glazing helps reduce the carbon footprint of properties. Roof Maker has seen these two areas become far more important in the purchase decision-making process than ever before. The products are designed and built using the latest technologies, with triple glazed options that provide one of the industry’s highest Ug ratings of 0.2. We can also offer double glazed units, in order to provide the option of a lighter alternative to triple-glazed products.

The JetTENDER: Idea is to make really light and practical jet tender boat. Why? Because, strangely?, there is no such product on the market. All available Jet tenders are simply to big, to heavy - more than 290 kg, unpractical and expensive. Our goal is to make Jet tender which will be possible to handle on smaller yachts and sailboards which do not have lifting equipment, where storage have limited space or transom platform is not suitable for big and heavy boats. We believe that there is no need for strong engine. Big engine is heavy, uneconomical, require to much space and in fact you can not exploit all power. Thanks to small engine and joystick steering we could remove bulky steering console. Our concept have more inside space for passengers and cargo than much bigger boats. We managed to incorporate two covered storages and one on aft side is very big. Slim line design without any element which protrude allow that our JetTENDER can be placed in front of sailboat mast or in tight storage.

The hotel changed its name to Crocker’s Folly in 1987. In 2004, the pub was placed on the English Heritage Buildings ‘At Risk’ Register and the future looked bleak until it was purchased once again, by The Maroush Group. 'Now we’re proud to show off the Victorian design in our beautiful, Grade II listed building'. Our special saloon bar still features the same 50 kinds of marble, plus Romanesque columns and carved mahogany. The Lord's Room (or dining area) even has the original high ceilings, grand fireplace and spectacular crystal chandelier! We can't wait for you see the way this space has been transformed into the Crocker’s Folly we love today! We’re sure Frank Crocker would be proud.

I can describe myself to be a crazy, daring, fun, happy go lucky, down to earth and friendly kind of guy...Oh and my girlfriend says I’m sweet and loving too. My friends describe me as ‘The Crazy Jap’ hence the name of my blog. Anyways, I’m not one for writing, art and design is what I do best, so what you’ll find on my blog is just that. My friends, family, girlfriend, previous educators and lecturers, have always encouraged me to exhibit my art work or share it with other people. Since I’m working towards establishing a name for myself in the design world, my blog is the one way of me doing so. Art is my medium of expression, plain and simple. Selected by NASA in 1963 into the third group of astronauts, Aldrin was the first with a doctorate and became known as “Dr. Rendezvous.” The docking and rendezvous techniques he devised for spacecraft in Earth and lunar orbit became critical to the success of the Gemini and Apollo programs, and are still used today. He also pioneered underwater training techniques, as a substitute for zero gravity flights, to simulate spacewalking. In 1966 on the Gemini 12 orbital mission, Buzz performed the world’s first successful spacewalk, overcoming prior difficulties experienced by Americans and Russians during extra-vehicular activity (EVA), and setting a new EVA record of 5 ½ hours. On July 20, 1969, Buzz and Neil Armstrong made their historic Apollo 11 moonwalk, becoming the first two humans to set foot on another world. They spent 21 hours on the lunar surface and returned with 46 pounds of moon rocks.
