Example products include: All items are precision manufactured to be dimensionally accurate and can be produced in small volumes as well as in larger batches. Finished articles range in size from just a few centimetres to several metres. We offer a wide range of plain weave or twilled weave stainless steel woven wire meshes. The meshes we have selected are robust, mechanically stable and precise. They are also characterised by their high flow rates and low differential pressures. The standard range for woven wire meshes is 40 – 1000 microns with other ratings available on request. Multi layered or sintered meshes are also available on request. Stainless steel perforated sheet is available from 1mm aperture to more than 10mm with conventional circular hole, with square perforated products available on request.

Product Specifications: PSS Type A Seal Dimensions The Type A PSS Shaft Seal is a mechanical face seal. The sealing surface is created between the flat surfaces of the rotating stainless-steel rotor and the stationary carbon flange. The stationary carbon flange is attached to the front side of the bellows with hose clamps, and the back end of the bellows fits over the Stern tube and is secured with hose clamps. The stainless-steel rotor is fitted on the shaft in front of the carbon flange. The stainless-steel rotor compresses the bellows before the rotor is secured to the shaft with set screws. This compression (pre-load) maintains constant contact between the two flat faces of the stainless-steel rotor and carbon flange, allowing the PSS to compensate for the variable fore and aft movement due to propeller thrust. In addition, the carbon flange is over-bored to the shaft diameter allowing it to “float” around the shaft and thus compensate for most misalignment and vibration problems. The stainless-steel rotor is sealed to the shaft by two O-rings recessed into the collar's bore. These O-rings rotate with the shaft and stainless-steel rotor and do not experience wear during operation.

Remote software upgrades: whenever the customer wishes to change his camera, or add a new one, he shouldn't send us the housing or the electronic control unit like before. He'll simply have to buy on-line, or through e-mail, the appropriate software upgrade and, after copying the file to the usb pendrive included into the optional programming kit, connect to leo3, switch it on and the upgrade will perform automatically. Easydive will deliver by special courier the appropriate tray for the new camera. The seriesOne shaft seal was designed for smaller, single-engine vessels with stainless steel propeller shafts. This shaft seal fits shaft diameters from 7/8 through 1 1/4 in 1/8 increments. It can also be used on metric stainless shafting from 25mm through 30mm. The seriesOne shaft seal is covered by a one year warranty. Tides Marine suggests that all twin-engine applications use the Tides SureSeal. The seriesOne housing is produced in the same manner as the SureSeal shaft seals. However, in order to produce a shaft seal for our more cost-conscious customers, the front cap design of the seriesOne has been modified. For vessels powered by smaller diesel engines (1-3 cylinders) using softer engine mounts, the multi-convolution articulating hose is recommended. This extra flexibility compensates for increased lateral engine movement during operation.

The KlickFix® cartridge seal with sequentially deployable sealing lips – has been specifically developed around pump sealing applications in the paper and pulp industry and this case study demonstrates exactly why there is so much excitement within the industry about the future for this product. When a mechanical seal fails in this type of environment it can cause significant problems, requiring a great deal of clean-up. The mechanical seal in place on the customer's pump in this case had a typical life of just 9 to 11 months and required a constant clean water flush of some 20 gallons per hour. The KlickFix replacement was of an 8 lip configuration with the first 2 lips engaged on installation. Requiring just 2 gallons of flush per hour (a 90% reduction over the previous mechanical seal), this unit has now been in continual service for more than three and a half years with no leakage.
