Soulseek

https://www.slsknet.org/news/

Saved by uncleflo on April 25th, 2026.

Soulseek is an ad-free, spyware free, just plain free file sharing network for Windows, Mac and Linux. Our rooms, search engine and search correlation system make it easy for you to find people with similar interests, and make new discoveries! After some positive feedback from users I posted a new build that should work better on newer versions of macOS. It's built with a newer version of Qt, has a new UI style that (in my opinion) looks much better and fixes the cut-off text in tab names, is more compatible with macOS dark mode and is notarized to get past gatekeeper on Big Sur! Find it on the download page or get it right here:

Ashburton Library – Historical Photos and Existing Plan

http://thefoap.org.uk/history/

Saved by uncleflo on July 18th, 2016.

Byculla House later known as Stroud Green House was built in 1788 and stood in its own grounds not far from Ashburton House on other side of St James Road East. The road is now known as Lower Addiscombe Road. The renaming is most probably because the Addiscombe area falls to this low point and may account to the area being latterly known as marshy or wet place as in ‘Stroud Green’. The Byculla name was derived from the suburb in south Mumbai (Bombay), an area to which the British East India Company had links. The East India Company had its own army, trained in Addiscombe.

Friends - House of 207

http://friends.houseof207.com/

Saved by uncleflo on July 16th, 2014.

Since 2011, our group of friends have been using the same email thread to keep in touch with one another, post-college, while scattered across the states. When we realized that our on-going conversation was nearing its 10,000TH reply, we decided it was time to take a look at the monolith we had created. The data seen here is gathered from our sprawling, rambling, (and often incoherent) chain.

Busabout

http://www.busabout.com/

Saved by uncleflo on May 5th, 2011.

Busabout is not your average travel company. It was 1998 when we first linked up the best cities and destinations in Europe with a commitment to the independent traveller to make their time, cash and experiences go further. By being the alternative choice we have remained dedicated to our freestyle form of travel and our unique hop-on hop-off flexible coach network. We live to travel and as travellers ourselves know what makes an unforgettable trip. Sometimes we show you around, other times you are free to explore, either way, we hope to give you choice and plenty of local knowledge. This passion to explore the world (without costing the Earth) has also developed over the years into our innovative Adventures, be it island hopping in Greece and Croatia, trekking through Eastern Europe or discovering the ancient cultures of Egypt and Morocco.

How to create a torrent? | TorrentFreak

http://torrentfreak.com/how-to-create-a-torrent/

Saved by uncleflo on December 10th, 2010.

Torrents are great, they are the best way to share large files with your friends, or even with people you don’t know at all. But surprisingly enough, not many people create torrents when they need to share something. I have “a lot of” friends who know how to download torrents, but when they need to send me their latest 200MB vacation picture collection, they ask me to “get on msn”. It’s not that I have anything against msn (although the file transfer sucks), but why don’t just use BitTorrent? Especially if you want to send something to more than one person, or if you want to share high quality HDTV files, because then you can share the bandwidth.
