Themestr.app - Bootstrap Theme Builder and Customizer

https://themestr.app/theme

Saved by uncleflo on January 13th, 2022.

The whole idea of Themestr.app is to make the Bootstrap customization process easier, and allow you to visualize changes along the way. For most users it's designed to be point-and-click. Advanced users can delve into the SASS as desired. It's a 4-step process... There are many, many variables. The variable names are self-explanatory, and the more relevant ones are displayed first. The SASS is automatically generated by Themestr.app. The SASS input is sent to a server-side SASS processor, which outputs the custom CSS theme. Save the CSS output as a .css file such as `theme.css`. To keep the theme file separate and smaller in size, the Bootstrap grid classes are not included in the CSS output. This means you'll need to reference the Bootstrap CSS as usual, and then reference the generated custom `theme.css` after the `bootstrap.css` in the HTML. This allows the `theme.css` to override the `bootstrap.css` with the appropriate classes as defined in the custom theme.

Friends - House of 207

http://friends.houseof207.com/

Saved by uncleflo on July 16th, 2014.

Since 2011, our group of friends have been using the same email thread to keep in touch with one another, post-college, while scattered across the states. When we realized that our on-going conversation was nearing its 10,000TH reply, we decided it was time to take a look at the monolith we had created. The data seen here is gathered from our sprawling, rambling, (and often incoherent) chain.

Saved by uncleflo on May 19th, 2014.

Convolution is the most important and fundamental concept in signal processing and analysis. By using convolution, we can construct the output of system for any arbitrary input signal, if we know the impulse response of system. How is it possible that knowing only impulse response of system can determine the output for any given input signal? We will find out the meaning of convolution.

Prefuse: A Toolkit for Interactive Information Visualization - YouTube

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=65jnLapQB4c

Saved by uncleflo on November 18th, 2011.

Although information visualization (infovis) technologies have proven indispensable tools for making sense of complex data, wide-spread deployment has yet to take hold, as successful infovis applications are often difficult to author and require domain-specific customization. To address these issues, we have created prefuse, a software framework for creating dynamic visualizations of both structured and unstructured data. prefuse provides theoretically-motivated abstractions for the design of a wide range of visualization applications, enabling programmers to string together desired components quickly to create and customize working visualizations. To evaluate prefuse we have built both existing and novel visualizations testing the toolkit's flexibility and performance, and have run usability studies and usage surveys finding that programmers find the toolkit usable and effective.

SvfIndex - scopiavf - Scopia Visual Framework - Google Project Hosting

http://code.google.com/p/scopiavf/wiki/SvfIndex

Saved by uncleflo on November 18th, 2011.

Description: In our company we do research on new data visualization schemes and we like to experiment creating little new tools for it. Since our favourite environment is python, numpy and openGL, we are developing a framework for easily creating this kind of tools. Also we have a repository with some examples using it that we will keep on improving. The framework is still in very early stages of development. We are putting it available under GPL cause we want to have feedback and maybe contributions from other developers or companies. We are looking for criticism. Most of the things are not finished, some others missing, but we are able to make some interesting visualizers already. Hope you find this stuff at least entertaining.
