I understand the standardisation issues of DIR (I think) but DIR doesn't prescribe which reg you MUST have does it? Are Poseidons non DIR because GI3 had a spat with Poseidon (eg they wouldn't give him kit for an expidition) or is there a technical reason why GI3 considers them to be unsafe. And if the latter, why does the rest of the divng industry not also think they are unsafe? Or is it just plain old predudice against something diffrent?

Welcome to the PowerShell GitHub Community! PowerShell Core is a cross-platform (Windows, Linux, and macOS) automation and configuration tool/framework that works well with your existing tools and is optimized for dealing with structured data (e.g. JSON, CSV, XML, etc.), REST APIs, and object models. It includes a command-line shell, an associated scripting language and a framework for processing cmdlets. Although this repository started as a fork of the Windows PowerShell code base, changes made in this repository do not make their way back to Windows PowerShell 5.1 automatically. This also means that issues tracked here are only for PowerShell Core 6 and higher. Windows PowerShell specific issues should be opened on UserVoice. If you are new to PowerShell and would like to learn more, we recommend reviewing the getting started documentation.

Below you find a set of charts demonstrating the paths that you can take and the technologies that you would want to adopt in order to become a frontend, backend or a devops. I made these charts for an old professor of mine who wanted something to share with his college students to give them a perspective. If you think that these can be improved in anyway, please do suggest. If you think any of the roadmaps can be improved, please do open a PR with any updates and submit any issues. Also, I will continue to improve this, so you might want to watch/star this repository to revisit.

Each country has its own systems for tax evaluation and collection, and some countries are stricter than others. One of the major issues governments have with cryptocurrencies is the difficulty in taxing profits made on trading. The United Kingdom’s HMRC (Her Majesty’s Revenue and Customs department) found this out the hard way. Finance experts have warned that a loophole which reduces crypto gains to zero can be exploited on tax returns in the UK. It was reported that this could potentially deprive the government of millions in lost revenue. HMRC will be expecting a large number of profit declarations on tax returns after the crypto market capacity soared by almost 2000% in the past year. However, the taxman could be seeing far less than anticipated due to a loophole which currently enables crypto profits to be declared as gambling winnings, which are not taxable.

When we started building DropSend, we decided to support all languages worldwide from the start. The interface is currently in English only, but the application can send, store, sort and process your data whatever language you want. As a result, we have a good number of customers out east. To support worldwide languages, you need to use UTF-8 encoding for your web pages, emails and application, rather than ISO 8859-1 or another common western encoding, since these don't support characters used in languages such as Japanese and Chinese.

Setting up a business should be an exciting process. Without the right advice, however, it can also be a minefield, particularly where legal issues are concerned. Too often, it is not until matters reach crisis point that people turn to a solicitor for help. Resolving the problem at this late stage is usually far more costly than preventing the problem arising in the first place.

I am looking for installing a git server to share projects with my team. I don't want to create a user account on the server with SSH access for each developer that needs a git access. It seems there is two concurrent solutions that cover this issue : gitosis & gitolite. I could not find any comparison between both solutions. What are the main differences between them? Are there other similar solution?

This is a platform set up by EDRi.org for an easy navigation through the different articles and topics of the Data Protection Regulation proposed by the European Commission on 25 January 2012 (EN | FR | NL | DE). You can browse through the Recitals, Articles and our Position Papers using the menu bar above. Recitals and Articles to which EDRi proposes amendments are marked with an asterisk(*). We also offer a version with almost all our proposed changes consolidated in one convenient document, ready for use. On the Topics page, you can also find our position papers on several selected issues of the Regulation. On the Committees page you will find all relevant information and documentation on the European Parliament Committees dealing with the Regulation. A certain amount of EU-jargon is hard to avoid when discussing these matters; if you need a quick overview of terminology and procedures, EDRi’s Activist Guide to the Brussels Maze (pdf) is there to help.
