Deze architectuur portfolio geeft een overzicht van de projecten tijdens mijn studieperiode en enkele reeds uitgevoerde/in uitvoering zijnde projecten. Hiermee wordt een beeld geschetst van mijn werk als beginnend ontwerper. Na het behalen van mijn diploma HBO-bouwkunde aan de Hogeschool Zuyd te Heerlen, heb ik aan de Technische Universiteit Eindhoven de opleiding Architectural, Design and Engineering gevolgd. In februari 2010 heb ik de studie met succes afgerond. In de toekomst wil ik mij ontwikkelen tot een spraakmakend architect.

(CNN)If you're sick and tired of arriving home after a hard day at work to find yet another online delivery has gone AWOL, then a new autonomous delivery vehicle could soon be here to help. Kar-go is the brainchild of the United Kingdom-based Academy of Robotics, which describes it as "Europe's first road-worthy autonomous delivery vehicle." Using AI, this autonomous delivery vehicle offers customers an app -- similar to one used when ordering a taxi -- allowing them to choose when and where their packages are delivered. Earlier this year, Chinese startup Neolix also began mass production of its own autonomous vans, while in Houston last month, Domino's Pizza partnered with self-driving company Nuro to deliver takeaway food to customers' doors.

The vehicle was praised by both English Dukes and Zimbabwean dignitaries Zimbabwean, William Sachiti and his team at the Academy of Robotics launched Europe s first roadworthy autonomous delivery vehicle, Kar-go which aims to reduce the cost of last-mile delivery by as much as 90 percent. In the first week of its launch, Kar-go has been hosted by the Duke of Richmond and praised.

We have talked about Pasi William Sachiti a few time in the past. We have been impressed by his UK startup, Academy of Robotics which has been working on Kar-go, a driverless car to solve the last mile delivery problem. The last time we talked about Sachiti and Kar-go, he had just successfully raised funding for the innovation via a crowdfunding platform. The autonomous vehicle was launched last week and it was hosted at two glamorous events in the UK. Kar-go was part of the Duke of Richmond’s Festivals of Speed (FOS). This is when the Duke hosts motoring enthusiasts from around the world who flock to see the latest concept cars to classics. A new addition to the show is what is called, the FOS Future Lab which has become a centre piece of the event. This is where Sachiti’s car was featured.

Heute möchte ich euch zeigen, wie ihr mit einer Synology NAS eine private Cloud einrichten könnt. Dazu installieren wir auf einem Synology NAS System die beliebte Nextcloud Umgebung als Data Storage System. Was könnt ihr damit tun? Ich nutze die private Cloud, um Daten mit Freunden und der Familie zu teilen. Fotos, die ich mit dem Smartphone aufnehme, lädt die passende Android App automatisch in die Nextcloud. Was werden wir alles tun? Wir werden auf der Synology 218+ die Docker-Anwendung installieren, ein Datenbankimage, das Nextcloud-Image, und ein Zertifikat installieren, sowie verschiedene Weiterleitungen einrichten. Ich nutze hier die Synology DS 218+.

Inmiddels hebben 5,6 miljoen Nederlanders een tablet in hun bezit, terwijl in 2013 het aantal tabletgebruikers steeg met 1,3 miljoen. Die groei was voornamelijk toe te schrijven aan jongeren tussen de 13 en 17 jaar en aan ouderen van 65 jaar en ouder. Dat blijkt uit de resultaten van een onderzoek van Intomart GfK. In totaal bezit 44 procent van de Nederlanders een tablet. Van de Nederlanders van 65 jaar en ouder bezit een derde een tablet, onder jongeren tussen de 13 en 17 jaar is dat 39 procent. Het smartphonebezit is verder toegenomen. Dat aantal groeide met een miljoen, waardoor nu 8 miljoen Nederlanders een smartphone bezitten. Daarbij is het opvallend dat het aantal 65-plussers met een smartphone het afgelopen jaar is verdubbeld van 16 naar 32 procent
