Run by divers for divers. We’re a family run dive centre based in Teignmouth on the beautiful South Devon coast and have been servicing local divers since 1991 through our bricks and mortar dive centre, Teign Diving centre, our dive centre located in Quay Road, Teignmouth. Our focus is on providing ALL divers with the best possible service, and we bring those 24 years of experience to our online dive shop. Whatever budget you’re on, we want to make sure you dive with the best kit you can for the type of diving you want to do. Our friendly team is made up of experienced divers who can provide you with advice based on real diving experience of the equipment we sell. The range of equipment that we have selected to stock and sell in our stores is based on what we would personally choose to use, we don’t sell any equipment that we would not choose to dive with ourselves!

An essential part of my work is the occupation with spatial situations within physical space and digital media. I concern myself with terms of interdisciplinary art and experimental space. My knowledge is based on research of perception and narration in space. I work on projects both individually and in groups. Either architecture itself is the focus or the interaction with people is central. Subjects of public space, migration, temporary use and fictional space are negotiated. A humorous view and a technical approach about the interplay of humans, their perception and architecture results in different forms of expression: installation, photography, documentary time-lapse, 3D-print and modular construction. I am a member of the ‘Oberösterreichischer Kunstverein’, chairman of ‘Offene Gesellschaft für bildende Kunst’ and part of the collective ‘Salon Franziska’.

This is a simplified subjective method of testing lenses optical sharpness. This should not be confused with tests for focus accuracy and discrimination in a 3D environment, that is a totally different issue although often confused by the inexperienced. A focus accuracy test is suggested here Focus Test. The advantage over this method, compared to just taking a shot of a garden etc, is elimination of variables such as subject and camera movement, insufficient depth of field, flatness of field and variations in focus location. It uses a nice consistent high contrast subject to make comparisons easy; checking sharpness on general photographic views is not very easy. As the method is subjective, it is worth testing against a known good lens for comparison.

In 2000, the International Standards Organization adopted ISO Standard 12233: Photography -- Electronic still-picture cameras - Resolution measurements for the measurement of camera resolution. This standard is protected by copyright, but the design of the associated test chart seems not to be protected; its description has been available on the Web in an Excel spreadsheet. I have semi-manually converted this to an Adobe Illustrator file which is displayed here. In 2014 and again in 2017, the ISO revised the standard and the chart below was replaced by several new ones. Those new charts are not available here. In principle, you should be able to print this chart and perform resolution tests on your camera. The reality isn't that simple; there are lots of subtleties having to do with focus distance, quality and contrast of your printer, evenness of illumination, surface reflections, etc.

It’s landing page examples time again, and this time I’m going to focus on critiquing the pages from an A/B testing perspective. Each example will examine the thought process you’d go through when analyzing a page (or the reaction a visitor might have when arriving for the first time), a testing hypothesis for how the page might perform better, and some examples of what you could test to prove your hypothesis.

Thousands of workers will be heading to a new job this month, excited and nervous to prove they've got what it takes. After the flurry of hiring that typically happens in the first quarter, the fall tends to be the second-biggest hiring period of the year, according to career coach Kathleen Brady, author of "Get a Job!" and the director of career development at Georgian Court University. Employers refocus on their top initiatives and capitalize on any remaining budget for new hires.

Freeway capable EVs are more expensive than slow EVs because you need more batteries (sometimes: could use buddy pairs at lower voltage) and a high voltage controller. The same motor can often still be used, just by advancing the brushes, and maybe adding a blower to keep it cool. So, it seems to me that the best place to focus efforts to making freeway capable EVs more affordable (under $1500?), is to focus on the controller. About $1200 or so can be shaved off the cost of a new controller.
