Question: What is your preference regarding the best place to mount a radar antenna? As far as we can tell from the pictures of Morgan’s Cloud you have mounted yours on a pole aft. Our previous experience with radars tells us that the antenna should be as high and free as possible. Wouldn’t a radar antenna mounted on the mast just above the first spreaders give better range and a more detailed radar picture than if it were mounted lower? It also appears from the pictures that your antenna isn’t mounted in a way that makes it able to tilt so that it can compensate for heel of the boat when sailing. Answer: First off, we should say that we view radar as the most important piece of electronic equipment on Morgan’s Cloud—yes, more important than GPS, since we can find our way with a compass and sextant but we can’t see unlit objects at night or through fog—so we have given a lot of thought to the position and installation of our radar scanner. We prefer a pole mounted aft for the scanner over mast mounting.

Diesel engines need no electric supply to keep going, and usually have ample power to drive a substantial bilge pump as well as propelling the boat.Usually, there is no need to run the bilge pump continuously, so the pump is driven via an integral clutch, which allows the pulley on the pump to rotate without turning the pump itself. Fitted with a manual clutch, the pump is engaged by an attached lever. With an electromagnetic clutch using the boat's 12 or 24 volt D.C. electric supply, the pump can be operated remotely, usually from the helm. JABSCO manual and electromagnetic clutch pumps are powerful engine-driven units. These tough and fully-serviceable belt-driven pumps will self-prime rapidly and work continuously over a wide engine speed range. Technical Analysis for Traders. The trader extension is a free open source stock library based on TA-Lib. It's dedicated to trading software developers requiring to perform technical analysis of financial market data. Alongside many indicators like ADX, MACD, RSI, Stochastic, TRIX the candlestick pattern recognition and several vector arithmetic and algebraic functions are present. Calculations can be done in two modes - TA-Lib and Metastock. Changing it using trader_set_compat() will affect the way some trader functions work. Some trader functions provide different results depending of the "starting point" of the data being involved. This is often referred as a function having memories. An example of such function is the Exponential Moving Average. It is possible to control the unstable period (the amount of data to strip off) using trader_set_unstable_period() function. CT Self Assessment applies to APs ending on or after 1 July 1999. The current process, briefly, is as follows. A notice to deliver a company tax return is issued. AGAINST takes a string to search for, and an optional modifier that indicates what type of search to perform. The search string must be a string value that is constant during query evaluation. This rules out, for example, a table column because that can differ for each row.

We have developed an SPI iptables firewall that is comprehensive, straight-forward, easy and flexible to configure. Login Failure Daemon (lfd): To complement the ConfigServer Firewall (csf), we have developed a Login Failure Daemon (lfd) process that runs all the time and periodically (every X seconds) scans the latest log file entries for login attempts against your server that continually fail within a short period of time. Such attempts are often called "Brute-force attacks" and the daemon process responds very quickly to such patterns and blocks offending IP's quickly.
