To assist the safe passage of small craft to and from Portsmouth Harbour a Small Boat Channel for vessels less than 20m in length including Personal Watercraft (PWC) has been created on the western side of the harbour entrance. The 50 metre wide Small Boat Channel is shown on Admiralty charts 2625 and 2631. Its northern and southern extremities are at Ballast Pile (50 47.62N 001 06.83W) and No 4 Bar Buoy (50 46.97N 001 06.48W) respectively. Small boats are reminded that they can be difficult to see and the harbour entrance is a blind bend to larger vessels and traffic leaving the camber. Vessels approaching or departing the small boat channel to the south, should follow the line of the port lateral boys to avoid grounding on the South-East corner of Hamilton bank. The following vessels under 20m in length are authorised to use the main channel and loiter in the Small Boat Channel when their duties require; pilot boats, police launches, QHM Harbour Patrol launches, Border Force craft, Royal Naval vessels, lifeboats, senior officers’ boats flying official flags or discs and tugs engaged in towing operations or escorting a vessel. Small boats may continue to use the Small Boat Channel when the main channel is closed for the passage of a large vessel other than a Queen Elizabeth Class (QEC) Aircraft Carrier. The Small Boat Channel will be shut to all traffic during QEC transits.

This project is totally inspired from Aaron Magnin's Fusion 360 Tutorial in Autodesk Youtube Channel. I took a screenshot of the completed model and completed the model according to what I have learned from the tutorial. It was totally fun and a good example to show the power and simplicity of Fusion 360. I hope it will be useful to anyone interested as well. I watched this video and I fully enjoyed the lesson.

I have just bought a yacht back from France with a NAVICOM RT 450 DSC a couple of years old. But I cannot get the full range of radio channels, especially M1 and M2, is it me or the radio? Is the radio set on USA rather than International channels? There's usually a means of switching from one to the other.

hping is a command-line oriented TCP/IP packet assembler/analyzer. The interface is inspired to the ping(8) unix command, but hping isn't only able to send ICMP echo requests. It supports TCP, UDP, ICMP and RAW-IP protocols, has a traceroute mode, the ability to send files between a covered channel, and many other features. While hping was mainly used as a security tool in the past, it can be used in many ways by people that don't care about security to test networks and hosts.

A WebSocket is a standard protocol for two-way data transfer between a client and server. The WebSockets protocol does not run over HTTP, instead it is a separate implementation on top of TCP. A WebSocket connection allows full-duplex communication between a client and server so that either side can push data to the other through an established connection. The reason why WebSockets, along with the related technologies of Server-sent Events (SSE) and WebRTC data channels, are important is that HTTP is not meant for keeping open a connection for the server to frequently push data to a web browser. Previously, most web applications would implement long polling via frequent Asynchronous JavaScript and XML (AJAX) requests as shown in the below diagram.
