The AgustaWestland Project Zero is a hybrid tiltrotor/Lift fan aircraft. It has been developed by AgustaWestland as a technology demonstrator, and is used to investigate all-electric propulsion and other advanced technologies. It is the world's first electric tiltrotor aircraft. In December 2010, AgustaWestland's management approved the formation of a team under James Wang with the intention of producing a technology demonstrator incorporating as many new innovations as possible on a single airframe. Speaking in 2013, Wang noted that electric technologies were rapidly advancing, and that the function of Project Zero was to achieve readiness with electric aircraft technologies: "Rather than waiting for the battery to become even better, then working on electric aircraft technology, the team has positioned itself to be ready for the next generation of batteries".

Formua E asked me if I I could take an electric vehicle to the Rome Formula E Race to ride around their track. Having only my Mr Bean Armchair, the tools came out and an electric drift trike was created. I have previously made a motorised 125cc drift trike and this electric version is not to better it, but to add an alternative. Over the three years of the motorised version being on Youtube, I have been sent loads of pictures from people that have followed the build video to make their own and I hope that this build will also tempt people to create their own. This particular build is a pricey one (around £2000) however in the future I hope to build a no weld, cheeper version.

There isn't much that Sylvio Mancusi can't do in the ocean. From surfing to kitesurfing to SUPing to towing in this Brazilian sea gypsy never met a set of wind and swell conditions he didn't like. He travels the world with his young family searching for big waves and favorable filming conditions in which to ply his trades. This week Sylvio and the fam rock up in Nazaré, Portugal for a big swell. Praia do Norte is known for giant waves, but it's not known for perfect waves. Sylvio and Garrett McNamara spend their session trying to find a few peeks without getting cleaned up in the process. It's hair-raising stuff. Samuel Mullet, the ringleader of a group behind a spate of beard- and hair-cutting attacks on members of an Amish community in Ohio, was sentenced to 15 years in prison. Mullet, along with nine men and six women, were last year found guilty of assaulting dissenting members of an Amish community in Ohio in 2011. According to prosecutors, five attacks targeted Amish who defied Mullet’s authoritarian leadership of the settlement, which, like other Amish communities, strives to insulate itself from modernity.
