Stainless Steel Perforated Sheet 316/316L

https://www.metalsupermarkets.co.uk/product/stainless-steel-perforated-sheet-316-316l/

Saved by uncleflo on January 29th, 2025.

Stainless Steel Perforated Sheet 316/316L is a sheet of 316/316L Stainless Steel Alloy that has been punched with a pattern. 316 Stainless Steel Alloy is a standard molybdenum-bearing grade, the second most commonly sought after grade next to grade 304 amongst the austenitic stainless steels. The molybdenum gives 316 better overall corrosion resistant properties than Grade 304, particularly higher resistance in chloride environments. Grade 316L (L= low carbon) ) is the same as 316 except it has an extra-low-carbon analysis, the advantage of which is that it precludes any harmful precipitation in the 800º F to 1500º F range that might result from welding heavier sections. Therefore 316L is extensively used in heavy gauge welded components.

PHP: Trader - Manual

https://www.php.net/manual/en/book.trader.php

Saved by uncleflo on January 16th, 2022.

Technical Analysis for Traders. The trader extension is a free open source stock library based on TA-Lib. It's dedicated to trading software developers requiring to perform technical analysis of financial market data. Alongside many indicators like ADX, MACD, RSI, Stochastic, TRIX the candlestick pattern recognition and several vector arithmetic and algebraic functions are present. Calculations can be done in two modes - TA-Lib and Metastock. Changing it using trader_set_compat() will affect the way some trader functions work. Some trader functions provide different results depending of the "starting point" of the data being involved. This is often referred as a function having memories. An example of such function is the Exponential Moving Average. It is possible to control the unstable period (the amount of data to strip off) using trader_set_unstable_period() function. Extended documentation about indicators, formulas and implementations in other programming languages can be found under » tadoc.org.

Class patterns

https://javascript.info/class-patterns

Saved by uncleflo on April 8th, 2018.

There’s a special syntax construct and a keyword class in JavaScript. But before studying it, we should consider that the term “class” comes from the theory of object-oriented programming. The definition is cited above, and it’s language-independent. In JavaScript there are several well-known programming patterns to make classes even without using the class keyword. And here we’ll talk about them first. The class construct will be described in the next chapter, but in JavaScript it’s a “syntax sugar” and an extension of one of the patterns that we’ll study here.

OK, think of it as a religious flamewar to the likes of "tabs vs. spaces for indentation". Looks like this particular war is currently (at JSConf and NodeConf) even more heated than it should be. Classes vs prototypes. For or against classes. I personally don't care about the "winner". The thing is that classes currently don't exist in JavaScript. No such thing. However looks like they might in the next iterations of the language (see latest post from Brendan Eich). Some people miss classes so much that they start calling other things classes or come up with some approximation. Problem is, because classes don't exist, people often mean different things when they say "class".

The module pattern is a common JavaScript coding pattern. It’s generally well understood, but there are a number of advanced uses that have not gotten a lot of attention. In this article, I’ll review the basics and cover some truly remarkable advanced topics, including one which I think is original.

Simon Whatley - Apache .htaccess query string redirects

Saved by uncleflo on October 11th, 2014.

One of the most common tasks performed by Apache and htaccess is the manipulation of a URL and configuring a redirect for a specific page. Creating a single page redirect in Apache is a simple task, which uses mod_alias module.

Apache mod_rewrite Tutorial

http://www.mediacollege.com/internet/server/apache/mod-rewrite/syntax.html

Saved by uncleflo on October 11th, 2014.

We need to tell Apache where and what to rewrite. You have two options here - more commonly, you can place the code in a .htaccess file. This is nothing more than a text file which when present in a directory will be interpreted by Apache. You may already be familiar with a .htaccess file, as these allow you set all kinds of server options, e.g. as a custom 404 error page. The other alternative is only available if you have root access and that is to place the code inside your httpd.conf. See load issues for more information. Throughout this tutorial, I am assuming you are using a .htaccess file in the root of your domain (i.e. http://example.com/.htaccess), unless otherwise stated.

Pattern Lab is a collection of tools to help you create atomic design systems. At its core, Pattern Lab is a custom static site generator that constructs an interface by stitching atoms, molecules, and organisms together to form templates and pages. Pattern Lab serves as your project's pattern library and frontend style guide, but you're simultaneously able to see components abstractly and in context. Pattern Lab provides a whole slew of patterns just to get you started. Don't use them all. You should use Pattern Lab to create your own atoms, molecules, organisms, templates, and pages.

Cover Flow is an animated, three dimensional graphical user interface integrated within iTunes, the Macintosh Finder, and other Apple Inc. products for visually flipping through snapshots of documents, website bookmarks, album artwork, or photographs. Cover Flow is browsed using the on-screen scrollbar, mouse wheel, gestures, or by selecting a file from a list, which flips through the pages to bring the associated image into view. Here we have CoverScroll jQuery plugin, which is a CSS3 variant of the Apple’s CoverFlow design pattern. It’s very handy if you would like to showcase some pictures in this way.

Pointers - C++ Documentation

http://www.cplusplus.com/doc/tutorial/pointers/

Saved by uncleflo on March 13th, 2012.

We have already seen how variables are seen as memory cells that can be accessed using their identifiers. This way we did not have to care about the physical location of our data within memory, we simply used its identifier whenever we wanted to refer to our variable. The memory of your computer can be imagined as a succession of memory cells, each one of the minimal size that computers manage (one byte). These single-byte memory cells are numbered in a consecutive way, so as, within any block of memory, every cell has the same number as the previous one plus one. This way, each cell can be easily located in the memory because it has a unique address and all the memory cells follow a successive pattern. For example, if we are looking for cell 1776 we know that it is going to be right between cells 1775 and 1777, exactly one thousand cells after 776 and exactly one thousand cells before cell 2776.
